Here is some info on my traveling costs in the Philippines for 4 days. Hotel, resorts, dive trip, food and lodging are included on a trip that started in Cebu City to Moalboal, Dumaguete, Siquiour, and back to Cebu City, Cebu, Philippines.

8 Peso = Short Distance MotorCab (motorbike w. side-wagon)
25 Peso = Short Distance Motorbike Taxi
NA Peso = Short Distance Bus

12-15 Peso = SoftDrink Coke, Sprite, Royal, 7Up, Pepsi 8oz.

40-50 Peso = Small "San Miguel" Beer
75-85 Peso = Large "San Miguel" Beer (1 Liter)

70-85 Peso = 1 Grilled Chicken Leg or Breast

Buy a WHOLE Grilled Chicken... !
180-200 Peso = Whole Grilled Chicken
Called: "Lechon Manok"

120 Peso = Cup of Coffee in the MALL 20 Peso = Cup of Coffee in a Small "Eatery"

50-90 Peso = Pack of 'Smokes' Cigarettes

125 Peso = 500ml Yogurt (Nestle)
Only Flavors available: Mango, Strawberry and Natural

80 Peso = a Good Meal in a small 'Eatery'
150-500 Peso = Meal in Restaurant

+600 Peso = Cheap Low Class Pension/Motel
+800 Peso = Cheap Hotel
+1200 Peso = Better Hotel
+3000 Peso = Good Hotel

Nation Wide !
Be very careful when smoking and where you plan to have your smoke, as the FINES are costly !
NOTE: Even you see Pinoy's smoke, the FINE Collectors, will focus on YOU (the Foreigner), as they know YOU got money !!! And will not let you get away !!!

500 Peso = 1st Offense Smoking
1000 Peso = 2nd Offense Smoking
BIG Trouble if you get caught more often, even Jail Time possible !
