Episode 07 - Try Creating Something.
In this Tutorial, he is using TEA instead of the Coffee, that works somewhat too but it doesn't darken the paper much but has not really a strong smell to it, like if you using Coffee :)
So if you in a hurry, this might be the best (natural) way to do it !
But if you wish to make a MAP what you keep for a long time and want one what will look much more realistic... use the Coffee tips below !
LCS TIP:
Using Coffee to make your paper brown works well, as the Coffee will make the paper not only brown but also make the paper feel much older !
- Most realistic effect of the MAP you get if you soak your paper 1st (totally) an let it dry over night, then cruple your paper in your hand together... and soak it again (totally)! Let it again dry over night and then dip only aa few parts of the MAP again into Coffee, giving the MAP a few darker spots or Edges... the different Coffee colors will male the paper look much older... !
LCS TIP:
If YOU want to make this as a BDay present, you need to do it over 4 week earlier, as the Coffee smell will be much longer smelly than if you use paint !
But You can say, that the Pirate Captains last boat he plundered was a boat filled with Coffee... :) Ha ha ha... Kids will like the additional Story :)
