Crystal and I make some of the most delicious pizza's we have ever had. We even make the dough from scratch! We used the recipe on the back of the yeast packets we bought. Fun fact: Fleischmann in German means meat man! But there's no meat on these pizzas!

Pizza dough recipe (for a 12" pizza, I doubled this recipe in the video which is why my pizza is massive):

1 3/4 cup to 2 3/4 cup flour
(I used a mix of all purpose and whole wheat flour, Crystal used a gluten free flour blend)

1 envelope yeast
(we used the fleishmann brand pizza yeast)

1 1/2 tsp sugar

3/4 tsp salt

2/3 cup very warm water

3 tablespoons oil

PLUS Pizza Sauce and toppings of your choice.

Preheat oven to: 425 F / 218 C


1. combine
1 cup of flour, yeast, sugar, salt, water, and oil in a large mixing bowl. Mix until well blended, about 1 minute.

2. gradually add remaining flour until a soft dough forms. It will still be slightly sticky to touch.

3. knead dough ball in floured surface until smooth and elastic, and press into a greased pizza pan.

4. add sauce and toppings and bake on Botton rake for approx. 12-15 minutes!
